WARNING!
As with any industry there are some great companies and there are companies who are, well, not so great… and usually for good reason.
Here are some things you should watch out for:
- No prices posted on their website. The prices you are paid should be posted online in grams or pennyweight. If nothing is posted then it is usually because their payout is embarrassingly low.
- Prices posted apply only to a minimum number of ounces (oz.). This is a misleading tactic you should definitely watch out for. For example, if prices posted are only for over 5 oz. or 10 oz., BEWARE. 90% of all packages received by Cash for Gold companies are less than 2 oz. If a company does not post prices for quantities that include 0-2 oz., prepare to get less than you expect.
- Top 10 Reviews. Many of these are fake, either done by the company in the Number 1 position or heavily influenced by that company. If you analyze these Top 10 Reviews they are often ridiculously misleading.
- Consumer Alerts Web Pages. These are meant to look like an investigative article. These are also fake, created by the company being promoted in the article.
- Retail Locations. Would you feel comfortable with a company that only works through the mail, one you cannot visit? What if you’re not happy with a transaction and want to talk to someone in person? We believe you have a right to come visit us if you are in the area. That’s why we tell you where our retail locations are. You can walk in any time and we’ll test your gold right there and then. If you like the quote we give you, you can walk out with your payment immediately. There’s never any obligation.
- Better Business Bureau (BBB). The company you deal with should be a member of the Better Business Bureau (BBB) where you can see their rating and if there are any complaints against the company. We are members and we have an A rating.
A company’s practices should be straightforward and transparent. There should be no surprises. At AAA Gold Exchange we don’t play games with your payout. We offer you one of the highest payouts anywhere, up to 95%.
AAA Gold Exchange is licensed by the State of CA, Office of the Attorney General.
